1. Service Description

VIPawn ("the Platform") is an online marketplace for luxury goods including watches, jewelry, and precious metals. The Platform provides AI-powered valuations, product listings, and facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers.

2. Development Status

The Platform is currently in active development. Features, pricing, and availability may change without prior notice. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data retention, or feature continuity during the development period.

3. AI Valuations

AI-generated valuations are estimates based on publicly available market data and computer vision analysis. They do not constitute professional appraisals, certifications, or guarantees of authenticity or value. Users should seek independent professional appraisals for high-value transactions.

4. Purchases

All item purchases are final. Items are sold as-is based on listed descriptions, photos, and condition ratings. The Platform facilitates the transaction but does not guarantee the accuracy of descriptions or the condition of items beyond what is stated.

5. Credits

Appraisal credits are purchased via Stripe and are non-refundable. Credits do not expire. Each AI appraisal consumes one credit. If an appraisal fails due to a system error, the credit will be automatically refunded to your balance.

6. Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. The Platform does not store credit card information.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses from reliance on AI valuations or item descriptions.
