1. Who we are

ViPawn ("ViPawn," "we," "us") is operated by Vipawn LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We operate licensed pawn and luxury resale locations in Boca Raton and Coral Springs, Florida, and the website vipawn.org (the "Platform").

ViPawn is a licensed pawn broker and retailer — not a bank, credit union, or investment adviser. Pawn transactions are regulated under Florida law (Chapter 539, Florida Statutes). Pawn license numbers are posted in each store and available upon request. Store addresses are listed on vipawn.org/contact.

2. Definitions

"Sell" or "buy" means you transfer ownership of your item to ViPawn or an affiliated buyer for an agreed cash price.

"Pawn" or "loan" means a pawn transaction under which ViPawn lends money secured by your item; you may redeem the item by repaying principal, interest, and applicable fees within the term shown on your pawn ticket, or the item may be forfeited according to Florida law.

"Consignment" means you authorize ViPawn to offer your item for sale on your behalf under separate in-store terms.

"AI appraisal" means an automated or staff-assisted estimate generated through the Platform. It is not a formal written appraisal unless separately agreed in writing at a store location.

3. Platform services

The Platform provides online item submissions, AI-assisted and expert-assisted estimates, shop listings, appointment scheduling, auction participation, and related tools. Final buy, pawn, and sale terms are set in store on licensed premises and may differ from online estimates.

The Platform is under active development. Features, pricing, and availability may change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime during development.

4. AI and expert estimates

Estimates shown on the Platform (including AI-generated ranges and expert review offers) are based on photos, descriptions, and market data. They do not constitute professional appraisals for insurance, tax, estate, or legal purposes, and are not guarantees of authenticity, condition, or final price.

You should seek an independent professional appraisal for high-value decisions. Credits spent on completed AI appraisals are non-refundable regardless of the estimate outcome.

5. Shop purchases

Items listed on the shop are sold as described based on photos and condition labels. All sales are final except where required by law. The Platform facilitates checkout; risk of loss transfers according to your receipt and Florida retail rules.

Some inventory may be subject to a regulatory hold under Florida pawn statutes before it can be sold. Items on hold are marked accordingly and are not available for purchase until the hold period ends.

6. Item reservations

You may reserve certain listed items by paying a reservation fee shown on the product page. Reservation fees are non-refundable. If you complete the purchase of the reserved item within the reservation window, the fee may be applied as a credit toward the purchase price where indicated at checkout.

If you do not complete the purchase before the reservation expires, the item may be released to other buyers and the reservation fee is retained by ViPawn.

7. Appointment booking fees

In-store visit appointments may require a booking fee (including $0 promotional slots). Fees are shown before you confirm. Paid booking fees are non-refundable if you cancel, reschedule outside Platform tools, or do not show for your appointment.

When you complete an in-store transaction related to the booked visit, a paid booking fee may be credited toward your deal as displayed at checkout. Rescheduling through the Platform applies your existing booking to the new slot where supported; this does not entitle you to a cash refund.

8. Credits

Appraisal credits are purchased via Stripe and are non-refundable once used. Unused credits do not expire. If an appraisal fails due to a verified system error, the credit will be returned to your balance.

9. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. By paying on the Platform, you agree to Stripe's terms. ViPawn does not store full payment card numbers.

Shop purchases (buy now and cart checkout) accept U.S. debit cards only. Credit cards and prepaid cards are not accepted for merchandise purchases and may be declined or automatically refunded. Other fees on the Platform (for example appraisal credits, appointment fees, or item reservations) may still be paid by credit card unless stated otherwise at checkout.

10. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ViPawn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, including reliance on estimates, listings, or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable Florida pawn or consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
