Information we collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, submitting appraisals, booking appointments, making purchases, or contacting us. This may include your name, phone number, email address, profile photo, Telegram identifier, photos and descriptions of items you submit, appointment details, and records of transactions.

We also collect technical information such as IP address and browser type through our hosting and security providers when you use the site.

How we use information

We use your information to operate vipawn.org and related services: account authentication, shop purchases, appointment scheduling, AI-assisted item valuations, customer support, fraud prevention, and service improvements.

We may send you transactional messages about orders, bookings, and account activity. Marketing messages are not sent unless you opt in where applicable.

Third-party service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the platform. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Stripe — payment processing (card and checkout data; we do not store full card numbers).
• Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, database and object storage, bot protection (Turnstile), and optional website analytics when enabled.
• Anthropic — automated parsing and classification of public channel import content and internal business insights (not end-user appraisal photos by default).
• fal.ai (including vision models such as Google Gemini) — AI-assisted analysis of photos and descriptions you submit for valuations.
• Google — Sign in with Google (account email, name, and profile photo from your Google account).
• Apple — Sign in with Apple (account email and name; Apple may provide a private relay email).
• Telegram — optional login, @vipawnbot and staff notifications (Telegram user ID and chat ID when you use Telegram features).
• Google Fonts — typography loaded from Google servers (may include IP address and browser data).

AI-assisted processing

When you request an item valuation, photos and descriptions you provide may be sent to third-party AI services (such as fal.ai) to generate estimated value ranges. These outputs are for informational purposes only and are not a formal appraisal, legal opinion, or guarantee of purchase price.

Do not submit sensitive personal information in item descriptions unless necessary to describe the item.

Payments

Payments for shop purchases, appointment fees, and other charges are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are handled by Stripe under their privacy policy. ViPawn does not store full card numbers on our servers.

Hosting and security

The site and application data are hosted on Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, D1, R2). Cloudflare Turnstile may be used on certain flows to reduce automated abuse. Security verification may process IP address and browser signals.

Authentication

You may sign in with Google, Apple, or Telegram. We receive identifiers and profile information from the provider you choose. You can link Telegram to an existing account to receive updates through @vipawnbot.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law (including Florida pawn and financial record-keeping).

• Account profile and preferences — until you delete your account from vipawn.org/my; some identifiers may be retained in anonymized form with transaction records.
• Appraisal photos you upload (stored under valuations/) — removed when you delete your account or when the related in-progress appraisal is deleted; photos linked to listed shop inventory are retained as part of the product record.
• Purchases, pawn tickets, payments, and credit ledger entries — retained as required for tax, audit, and regulatory compliance (multiyear; contact us for specifics).
• Appointment bookings — retained while your account is active and in operational logs as needed for disputes.
• Security and rate-limit logs — short-term retention on Cloudflare (generally up to 30 days unless extended for incident investigation).

Your choices

You can download a copy of your personal data instantly from your dashboard at vipawn.org/my (Account & privacy → Download my data). The export includes your profile, valuations, bookings, purchases, loans, auction activity, and recent notifications in JSON format.

You can delete your account at any time from the same section (Delete account). Deletion removes your profile, login sessions, and credit wallet balance. Some records (for example completed purchases, pawn tickets, and payment history) may be retained in anonymized form where required by law.

For access or correction requests we cannot fulfill through self-service, contact us through @vipawnbot on Telegram or the contact page on vipawn.org. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Updates

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
